Sherwood Marine water Pumps

I'm simply learning about these pumps and at 1000 hours on 330B, my starboard raw water pump began dripping at a rate to great to disregard. So after plunking down over $1600 with California’s 8.75percent product sales income tax for 2, if one’s bad another should be near demise right? However after reading your article (altering the natural liquid Pump), maybe not. I thought I’d review replacement. Can you get back these and obtain the Seamax pumps? Have you any idea if anyone has any real-time using the Seamax 1730X? What do think? 1000hrs is not terrible mostly in sodium water. My big-block in the last ship required valves at 1600hrs. We agree totally that Cummins makes a great motor. Just in case tractors the Cummins engine is perfect for at the very least 8000hrs.

I had extra Sherwood pumps kicking around when the Seamax was first released. We considered returning or offering the spare Sherwoods, but decided it had beenn’t really worth the effort. Whenever I do put in all of them, I’ll change these with Seamax. I’ve just heard way too many good things about them.

I’m actually getting good pump life out of the Sherwoods these days. We however favor Seamax based on what I’ve already been reading, but my Sherwoods were performing fine lately.
